In a surprising move, Obama’s typewriter, politico.com, has sort of covered Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s investigation into Barack Obama’s birth certificate.
The item is at the link, but briefly quoting the Politico item:
We don’t know who the perpetrators are of these documents,” Arpaio said, according to The Associated Press, noting that he didn’t think the president himself forged the documents.
Arpaio said there needed to be a criminal investigation into the matter but doubted that Hawaii officials could do it.
Of course, Politic is Obama’s typewriter. So the item states that those who publicly doubt the authenticity of the White House birth certificate have been debunked. In reality, there has been no convincing rebuttal of the first relatively superficial examination and rejection of the proffered document.
Quite a few netizens downloaded the purported birth certificate, and examined it in either Photoshop or Illustrator. As it appears on the White House website, it looks fairly convincing. Download and open the document in Adobe Illustrator and the problem becomes instantly obvious. This link to Jim Hoft’s Gateway Pundit highlights the most obvious of those problems.
There are many other problems with this ‘Shop job, but a quick web search will turn those up. Of more interest is another anomaly. Obama’s “Social Security Number.” I quotations because that number should have been issued to a Connecticut resident. But Obama had never been to Connecticut.
And the bottom line? The question is still open – but so far the “Obama Birth Certificates” have not been.
