Food Prices About To Go Sky High

With food prices going up every day, ZeroHedge gives us glad tidings of neither comfort nor joy. The Department of Agriculture has cut the corn forecast by 12% – which means the 11 percent a year increase in food prices since ‘Bam took office is about to spike.

Of course, the gummit-up could put a stop to turning food into motor fuel. This would have very little effect on petroleum consumption, since most vehicles gas mileage worsens in proportion to the alcohol adulteration of gasoline (10% alky gives you 90% of the miles per gallon). But from what I have seen, the bureaucrats are not that smart.
