California to withhold a bigger chunk of paychecks
Sacramento politicians have given a new twist to the holdup man’s “Your money or your life.” They are going to extract ten percent more in State withholding taxes from your paycheck so California can pay its bureaucrats now. And if there is an over-deduction this year, you will get an IOU for the amount next year.
So it’s not an interest free loan. It’s a mandatory high risk extortion scheme masquerading as an interest free loan to the state.
