EARLY SNOWFALL IN SOUTH MISSISSIPPI

We had a couple of inches white “global warming” last night. While it was nothing like the Armistice Day Blizzard, it was record early for this area. We usually do not get cold weather until Christmas, and the rare occasions it snows are usually after New Years.

We had two inches on top of the vehicles, and less on the ground. The roads had melted clear by 7:00 AM, making a nice quiet trip to the grocery store.

Snow is pretty for a few hours, until wheels, footprints, and other disturbances turn white to various shades of dirt. But it’s not pretty at all after a couple of days.
