The Minnesota Star Tribune says, and I quote: “President Barack Obama says he believes the Tea Party is built around a “core group” of people who question whether he is a U.S. citizen and believe he is a socialist.”
Well, there’s not much doubt about the “socialist” part of it. There are more than 8,200 recognized flavors of Socialist, and my friend in Madrid agrees that Obama’s particular flavor is the same as this guys.
You can click the link and read more, but he managed to turn his country from the richest in South America to the poorest in just a few years. And his followers will still die for his memory. That’s what real charisma will get you. And Obama’s flavor of socialism. Since all that is on the record, Obama might just as well sign “Barack H. Obama, Socialist,” and forget it.
The “citizen” question is still open. Especially the Constitutional part. It would cost the O Man all of a phone call to settle the question.
To do the job right would require a bit more, a gathering of reporters and cameramen as the Registrar of Births retrieves the original “made at the hospital” birth certificate and allows open examination of the document. And said reporters to take a few Xeroxes off the premises to display to the public. Total cost? A few hundred bucks.
OR – if the media wanted to spend perhaps as little as five grand, they could go ask Obama’s granny. She’s still alive, and still kicking. As far as we know, she was the only one still living who was present at Obama’s birth. It would cost a few thou to rent suitable equipment in Nairobi, and a few hundred for a couple of competent interpreters. Plus a days work for a couple of reporters and equipment operators.
Either way would satisfy the “core group who question Obama’s citizenship.”
But Obama and his handlers keep blowing people off. And that costs the Regime money – and credibility. Since the question first arose in 2007, the Obama campaign has devoted more than $15,000,000 of its resources to avoiding the question of Obama’s birthplace.
And I do not pretend to know why. Perhaps Stanley Obama followed her family tradition of cross gender naming and named her son “Pearl.” But I do not know. But I do know that it would be quick, cheap, and easy to stop the questions.
OOPS!!! My BAD! I meant Obama’s Kenyan Grandmother. Who as of Sunday was very much glad to see a missionary. I think YouTube has a video somewhere. Yes, here it is.
